Aura Standard Schnauzer's

Thank you for finding and visiting my web site. I've lived in Grants Pass, OR for about five years, and have found the area and people just wounderful.

I've been training, breeding, and competitively showing Standard Schnauzer's since 1972. I bought my first Standard (Tobias) as a pet and he became my first American - Mexican Champion. Ch. Seagoing Blue Tobias C.D.. Soon after Tobias became a champion I acquired Karola's Seawind Knickers. She also became a Champion and produced 3 litters of wonderful pups that would compete and win championships. I"ve shown and bred puppies for 30 plus years and have enjoyed each and every one of my dogs.

My goal is to provide happy healthy companion animals for my puppy buyers. I breed on a limited basis, 1 or 2 litters a year. I spend a lot of time hand raising and training my pups for their new homes. Each pup is a treasure and deserves the best start I can give them before being chosen by their new owners.

I've had many other breeds of dogs over the years but have always come back to the Standard Schnauzer. Each and every one is special and has it's own personality. I've found that Schnauzers

will go to great lengths to please their owners. They can also be the ever funny clown or the serious guard dog, and a faithful family companion.

The past few years I've been volunteering my time and experience with our local 4-H here in Grants Pass. I teach a class in junior showmanship. My students have participated at the Oregon State Fair. and National 4-H conferences. One of my current students ( Jennifer Preciado ) possesses the qualities of a seasoned handler. With her charisma and adult attitude she will become one of the best.......
